6th PetitionCONFIRMATION HAPPENS EACH WEDNESDAY NIGHT FROM 6:30-8:00!

We are currently studying the Lords Prayer.

This weeks Small Group Question were:

  • Share your highs & lows for the week
  • Why don’t you think Jesus commanded us to pray “Give ME this day MY daily bread”?
  • Why can we be sure that God will give us our “bread” each day?
  • Why do we worry? Share something you have worried about this week.
  • Some say “A Christian never should worry.” Is this true? Why or why not?

Next weeks memory work:

But deliver us from evil.
But deliver us from evil.
What does this mean? We pray in this petition, in summary, that our Father in haven would rescue us from every evil of body and soul, possessions and reputation, and finally, when our last hour comes, give us a blessed end, and graciously take us from this valley of sorrow to HImself in heaven.

For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen
For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are Yours now and forever. Amen
What does this mean? This means that I should be certain that these petitions are pleasing to our Father in heaven, and are heard by Him; for he Himslef has commanded us to pray in this way and has promised to hear us. Amen, amen means “yes, yes,it shall be so.”
